Avo and Ricotta Smash on Rye or Pumpernickel


  1. Toast your chosen bread.
  2. On the base spread a layer of the ricotta on each slice.
  3. In a small bowl scoop out the avocado flesh and lighty mash it with a dash of lemon juice.
  4. Lightly spread the avocado on top of the ricotta, top with the shredded basil leaves, salt and pepper and a drizzle of Balsamic vinegar on each slice.. Serve with a few cherry tomatoes for some extra zing!
  5. Enjoy!
