Happy Weight FAQ’s
How do I take this? Can I mix it in a smoothie?
Absolutely. You can mix it into a smoothie, or add it to rice milk, almond milk, some juice, or just plain old water!
Do you take this alone? Without food?
Yes, ideally it replaces one meal a day – either breakfast or lunch. However, it can be used to replace dinner as well.
Can I mix this with Happy Hormones?
Yes, you can mix them together in a drink or a smoothie.
How long does it last?
Happy Weight contains 20 servings per sachet. That will last approximately 3 weeks if you take one serving per day.
How much fat does it contain?
0.28g per 25g serving, which is 1.12g per 100g
The sugar seems quite high?
It’s just the breakdown of complex carbohydrates. There’s no added sugar, so it would be fine if you have candida. Most other formulas contain actual sugar sweeteners in the form of fructose, maltodextrin and sucrose. Happy weight is free from any artificial sweeteners.
But isn’t sugar, just sugar? What’s the difference?
Sugars in a health supplement can be calculated from the complex & simple carbohydrate ingredients, which ultimately break down into glucose (a type of natural sugar). But these sugars also have other beneficial components. These are generally considered good for your body.
Whereas refined sugar, used as a sweetener, has no nutritional value & may have negative effects when consumed in large quantities.
Can men take this as well, or is it just for women?
Absolutely! It’s for both men and women.
Are the B vitamins methylated for MTFHR gene people?
They’re not, but they’re in small enough amounts so we have found them not to be an issue especially since there is the digestive enzyme Bromelain to assist with digestion.
I noticed it’s got fructo-ogliosacharides – will that be a problem if I have fructose malabsorption?
Potentially it could. It may depend on the severity of the malabsorption & any reactions. Generally speaking, it’s recommended to avoid foods rich in fructans and other fermentable oligo-, di- and mono-saccharides and polyols, including artichokes, asparagus, leeks, onions, and wheat-containing products, including bread, cakes, biscuits, breakfast cereals, pies, pasta, pizza, and wheat noodles.
Is the prebiotic fibre low FODMAP?
In our experience, the fermented grains in the formula will consume the FOS. That’s why they are there. One of the key claims for the health benefits of fermented foods is their contribution of live ‘good’ microbes – to the existing colonies in the gut. Fermented foods may increase micronutrient levels by supporting healthy bacteria colonisation. Some bacteria can increase levels of vitamins in food, especially B vitamins.
Is it ok to use if I have Hashimoto’s?
Yes, it’s fine. Whenever there are complicated medical conditions & you have any concerns, we recommend speaking with your healthcare professional, prior to commencing any healthcare program.
There is no added sodium. It’s just the natural sodium content of the ingredients.
How much caffeine from the green tea and coffee?
The formula only contains 0.6% of Green Tea & Green Coffee Extracts. It’s kept deliberately low so it gives a mild thermogenic effect, without overstimulating anyone.
Would the caffeine have a detrimental effect on adrenal fatigue?
The caffeine in Green Tea and Green Coffee is offset by the catechines. So it’s fine for people looking to regulate or improve their adrenal function.
I’ve heard pea protein is hard for some people to break down?
That’s why we have a lot of digestive support elements. Pea proteins can be very easy to digest and comparable to the best animal protein source. Laboratory tests on Pea Proteins demonstrated at least a 90% digestibility rate in humans. Animal experiments showed as high as 97.8% digestibility. Pea Protein also delivers you a good source of beneficial amino acids.
As recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) — the pea protein essential amino acid profile is very close to ideal for human nutrition.

Im a fan! For my first one, about halfway through drinking it as a smoothie with berries & yoghurt I was thinking this is not going to feel me up. I stopped had my HH capsules with water. Then finished it off feeling absolutely nourished. I feel like I'm getting all the nutrients my body needs to function in one meal without any effort. I've tried other shakes but felt like I was drinking flavoured milk and not satisfied at all. Thank you for all the great products. For the first time I feel like I am empowered and on the right track without being confused or overwhelmed with all the misinformation out there.
Gr8 stuff tastes awesome and it really works..
Having been taking HW for a week. Unknown weight loss as I prefer not to use scales. I purchased the Chocolate one and really like the taste . It’s great it’s not sweet like a manufactured chocolate . I include a cup of berries, banana and the Liva Tox HT and HG. Yum! It’s great it keeps you full and I find in curbs cravings through out the day also. I’m using at breakfast time as this is easy for me. I’m hoping to include a dinner 1-2 times a week also.
I love this, I have always added a cup of mixed berries, homemade almond milk with the HW Vanilla, and honestly it’s perfection. It’s the best start to my day, and sustains me for hours. I highly recommend to blend with your favourite fruit, delicious and nourishing.
In short Happy Weight has been a complete game changer for me. I’ve lost over 10kgs with replacing only dinner. Combined with daily walking I’m feeling the best I’ve since I was in my 20’s. Mixed with a cup of frozen berries, a little sorbet, pomegranate juice and HH of course and it makes for a delicious smoothie. You wouldn’t even know it’s super healthy and beneficial for you. If you’re on the fence jump off and go for it. I did and I haven’t looked back. My husband was so impressed I even got him drinking it and he’s lost kilos too.
I have a shake in the morning after the gym or for lunch if I'm on the road that day. I mix with water the night before leave it on the bench. I add chia seeds and sometimes frozen fruit and blitz it. The days I don't have this shake I snack more and look for sweet things and diet coke. I find it helps on my stressful days too. Sure it keeps my blood sugar balanced. Haven't tried it for dinner. I like the berry one and add a tsp of liver detox which brings out the berry flavour. Lost 3 kgs in the last 4 weeks after a holiday
I love the taste of the Berry HW. I mix it will a little water and let it sit for a few hours and when I'm ready to have it I blitz it with some ice and more water. It's refreshing and filling and helps keep my sugar cravings at bay.
After the sudden loss of my son , I needed to maintain a level of nutrition and sustenance as I wasn't eating. HW fulfilled my needs ....
I love the Happy Weight Chocolate, both my daughter and I have it in our morning smoothies, keeps me full and I love the taste, really would love to try the other flavours but can’t bring myself to change 😊
I have been having the Berry flavour with coconut or almond milk for the last three weeks and have dropped three kilos. Although I would have liked to lose a little more, I have decided to replace two meals a day from now on. I've just ordered the vanilla and chocolate flavours for a little more variety! Healthy Weight is really helping to keep my sugar cravings at bay, I can highly recommend giving it a try.
