Is it OK to take alongside synthetic hormones?

If you want to come off synthetic hormones - either as a contraceptive, treatment option or hormone replacement, we suggest doing so slowly in conjunction with your doctor.

Never stop any medication yourself, otherwise there may be a rebound action. Generally it’s good practice to follow the program for 1 cycle and then look at reducing the dosage with your doctor’s consent.

Does Happy Hormones make synthetic contraception ineffective?

No. Happy Hormones has no effect on the effectiveness of any contraception. This includes IUD’s; and it’s safe to take Happy Hormones while still using these forms of contraception.

Is it OK to take Happy Hormones while taking anti-depressants or thyroid medication?

Yes, it’s fine to take Happy Hormones while on anti-depressants; however we suggest monitoring closely with your doctor so you can identify your correct dosage.

How long before I feel any effect?

Every women responds differently. Happy Hormones is not a medicine. It’s a functional food which creates the environment for your body to heal itself. So any changes are dependent upon your own level of well-being and existing conditions.

What form does Happy Hormones come in?

Happy Hormones comes in a powder form and in capsules. The powder is available either in the original formulation, or in the vegan version. All are equally effective. It's very easy to take - the powder can be mixed with water, juice or added to a smoothie. You can even add it to your cereal. We suggest not to mix it into any hot liquids. Some women love the taste, some women hate the taste. Hey, you can’t please everyone!

We don’t recommend it. It’s best to let your body adapt naturally when you’re pregnant without any outside influences.

Absolutely! Happy Hormones is the perfect tonic for menopausal women, as it may help the body to balance itself naturally.

What about my husband?

Better not tell him, but yes! 🙂 Happy Hormones is not specific to men or women – although it has been designed with women in mind. Happy Hormones is a great food tonic for everyone.

The recommended amount is 1 teaspoon once per day in the morning. For women who are more sensitive, we recommend starting on 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon once a day until you feel fine with the amount; then it can be increased.

About the 8-Week Programme...

Do I have to follow it?

No – but it’s better that you do. Even if you think you have a healthy diet, the process of the 8-week programme may highlight any bad habits.

Do I have to have the apple cider vinegar (ACV)?

It’s great if you can, but for some people it’s a bit of an acquired taste. If the taste is too strong for you, you could have 10ml Apple Cider Vinegar before each meal diluted in water. This will help to alkalise your system and improve your digestion.

Do I have to have the drink?

It’s important to stay hydrated as it helps clear any toxins. But you can have the ingredients of the drink separately. So 1 teaspoon of turmeric in a smoothie; a couple of cups of chamomile tea every day; and the Apple Cider Vinegar as mentioned before meals.
