Lisa Curry RESET 04 - Week 2 Detox

Lisa Curry RESET 04 - Week 2 Detox

Congratulations on completing your cleanse phase, and welcome to the beginning of your DETOX week!

This week involves a three-day fluid detox followed by a three-day food detox. As I share in the video below, this week is going to be more challenging than your last BUT you have prepped for this AND, your body will THANK YOU.

Be brave, you can do this.

Expect to experience some headaches, more fatigue, flatulence, diarrhoea, interrupted sleep or a runny nose. This is because the food and drinks in your meal plan are designed specifically to boost the function of all your elimination organs - the liver, skin, kidneys and lungs. You are flushing out toxins and mopping up the waste that has been in your system for too long...

TIPS FOR THE WEEK

  1. Buy your fresh produce from your local farmer market.
Note, you will use many of the pantry ingredients from Week 1.

  2. Listen to your body.
Your body is busy detoxifying, give it the rest and sleep it needs to do this.

  3. Pre-chop your veggies for the detox soups.
Then pack them in airtight containers and pop them in the fridge.

  4. Make your vegetable or chicken broth fresh!
If this is not possible, use high-quality store-bought options. See which ones Lisa bought in her video on Happy Space.

  5. Know that you can add Happy Weight to your smoothie.
This is if you're feeling fatigued and need an extra boost.

JOURNALING PRACTICE

Write down three things which believe could potentially derail your amazing efforts on this challenge. Then write down three ways to overcome them.

For example:

  • Your challenge: The cravings I get when my menstrual cycle starts.
  • Your solution: Take a dose of magnesium every morning and go for a walk after dinner.

You are amazing and determined!
We believe in you.

In health,
Lisa and the HHY team
