I swear by the potency of this healthy fruit-and-veggie mix in the management and treatment of endometriosis!
Method
- You will need a juicer – I prefer cold-pressed or cold-extracted types.
- Wash and peel all ingredients and chop into juicer-size pieces.
- Place in the juicer to extract all of the juice. Discard the leftover pulp.
- Add the optional pinch of black pepper, if desired.
- Pour into a juice glass and enjoy! (May also be served chilled.)
Extra Notes
Celery disperses scar tissue that can otherwise become keloids and adhesions. It also provides further support by feeding and nourishing healthy cells around cysts, making those cells stronger so they can stop cystic growths nearby. Turmeric is excellent for inflammation and immunity while studies have shown ginger helping alleviate pain associated with endometriosis. Ginger is also great for digestion and bloating. Limes and lemons, on the other hand, promote immune health. Pineapples are full of bromelain (mostly in the core, so juice this part) which is an excellent enzyme to help break down internal tissue and is also beneficial for immunity. Black pepper helps with the assimilation of turmeric.
